Kagan’s Inaction on Second Amendment Case Raises Questions – Hans A. von Spakovsky & Todd Gaziano, National Review
Kagan like her boss, Barack Obama, comes to national attention with a tabula rasa, a blank slate. The left can say and spin anything about her because she has almost no pertinent experience beyond the last year and half. Kagan’s failure as solicitor general to file a brief in McDonald v. Chicago (a monumental 2nd Amendment rights case currently in front of the Supreme Court) is either an indication that she has no interest in defending the Second Amendment rights of Americans, or that the Obama administration told her not to get involved in case she were to come up for a nomination to the court. In other words, don’t say or do anything that may give you a record on which the American people and their Senators may judge your qualifications. – Dick Young
Watch All the Judges – James R. Copland, National Review
As James Copland points out well, all levels of the federal court system are under constant attack by the Radical Progressive Movement’s attempts to appoint crazy loon leftists to the bench. Without continued vigilance by the conservatives on the Senate Judiciary Committee, more activist judges, like Obama appointee Goodwin Liu will be placed in positions of power over normal Americans for which they are neither qualified nor desired by the people. – Dick Young
Kagan Bad on Guns – Brian Darling, Human Events
All the evidence coming out about Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan’s record on the Second Amendment is bad, and that’s really not surprising. In today’s Supreme Court, Second Amendment rights are being protected better every year, therefore it is no surprise that the Radical Progressive Movement (RPM), which hates the idea of Americans freely owning firearms, would try to appoint as many anti-Second Amendment judges as possible to stem the tide of new freedoms for gun owners coming from the Supreme Court. – Dick Young
Kagan Nomination is No Surprise – Carrie Severino, Human Events
Kagan is a political animal, and her insider status as the Obama administration’s Solicitor Geeral means that she is surely a team player with the RPM. As the healthcare law recently passed, and any other major legislation Barack Obama will usher through the liberal Congress, will surely create a firestorm of litigation, Obama wants to be sure the Supreme Court’s bench is stacked with players looking out for his agenda. Justices that will protect a friendly president’s law rather than focusing on the constitutionality of those laws are not to be trusted, or appointed. – Dick Young
Listen to Steve Forbes’ Urgent Message – Steve Forbes, National Right to Work Committee
Big Labor is after passage of HR413. Listen to Steve Forbes’ message on why every congressman should oppose The Police and Firefighters Monopoly Bargaining bill. The bill will hand union bosses control of all first responder contracts in the country. This bill will force citizens and their police and firefighters into a stand off over pay and benefits, bankrupting towns and cities nationwide. – Deborah Young
FCC Chairman Defends Broadband Regulation Strategy – Nat Worden, The Wall Street Journal
Do you want the Internet to be regulated like your local T.V. station? I certainly don’t, nor do the courts. That’s not going to stop FCC Chairman, and Obama chum, Julius Genachowski from using an antiquated law to push his broadband agenda. He claims he’s taking a position of “forbearance.” This is garbage. I have zero trust in his forbearance seeing how he’s reacted when court rulings don’t go his way. Expect more government in your life with the arrogant Genachowski running the FCC. – E.J. Smith
