“Survival Guy,” he said, “Inertia is the foe of every investor. It’s human nature. Make sure you remind your readers of this.”
In my conversations with Dick Young, he reminds me to remind you of the one word investors must absolutely avoid—inertia. If you’re a loyal reader of his reports, this comes as no surprise to you. But what never ceases to amaze me is how even the well-informed can get tangled up in its wake.
You can almost point to a day on the calendar when investors sold stocks and got out of the market to ease the pain of losses. And then you can count the years on the calendar when they should have gotten back in but never did.
Why not avoid the ordeal altogether and come up with a plan you can stick with?
Action Line: When you’re ready to avoid inertia, let’s talk, but only if you’re serious. Email me at ejsmith@yoursurvivalguy.com, and click here to sign up to my free monthly Survive & Thrive letter.
