Our recent trip to Montana/Canada
Where to stay:
Super Deluxe! Deb and I recently ate at the Post hotel in Lake Louise, Alberta. The Post Hotel is perched at 1500 meters amidst the natural wonders of Banff National Park and is part of a small village which lines the banks of Lake Louise. The background of Lake Louise is filled with views of several snow-capped mountains including Mount Temple (11,624 ft), Mount Whyte (9,786.7 ft) and Mount Niblock (9,763.8 ft). The village has a small shopping centre called “Samson Mall” which includes a park visitor centre, grocery store, bakery, sporting goods store, and fast-food establishments. The ski area Lake Louise Mountain Resort is also located here.Click on the following links for a virtual tour of the Post Hotel.

Where to eat:
Coyotes Deli and Grill is Banff’s most highly regarded casual eatery featuring a blend of Southwestern cuisine with a Mediterranean influence. Fresh, healthy ingredients are used to create innovative and flavorful dishes. Coyotes Deli and Grill offers wines from California and the Pacific Northwest at reasonable prices to compliment their menu. We ate there twice. A great place.
