L’Ami Louis is always one of our first, must hit, bistro stops when in Paris. And Louis holds court with an iron hand. You had better to be ready with your full table order when Louis hits (I’m ready) your table. I would go for the plates of roast chicken, grass fed steak, escargots, white asparagus and salad. My wine choice is usually a Syrah from either Cote Roti, Hermitage, Cornas or St. Joseph in the Northern Rhone of France.
