In rotation during lockdown, Green Onions by Booker T. & The M.G.s. Green Onions was Booker T. and the M.G.s’ debut album and was produced by Jim Stewart for Stax Records.
On the album are Booker T. Jones on the Hammond B3 organ, Steve Cropper on guitar, Lewis Steinberg on bass, and Al Jackson Jr. on drums.
I liked Booker T’s Green Onions so much, I made it my hold music at Young Research.
