Paul McCartney got by with a little help from his friends Ringo Starr and The Eagles’ Joe Walsh on Saturday night.
After finishing “Birthday” — one of which, coincidentally, Starr just celebrated his on July 7 — McCartney announced to the Los Angeles crowd that he had “a surprise for us, a surprise for you, a surprise for everyone,” Variety reported. “Ladies and gentlemen,” he continued, “the one and only Ringo Starr.
