Coats Makes First Step Back to Senate – John Gizzi, Human Events
The latest polls show Republican Dan Coats beating Democrat Brad Ellsworth 54% to 33% in Indiana’s senate race. Ellsworth voted for the Obamacare nightmare, even after saying he wouldn’t vote for a bill that would use federal funds for abortion. Unlike Bart Stupak who said the same thing and then retired after he broke his word, Ellsworth felt entitled to run for higher office after lying. Coats is not a perfect candidate. He voted for the horrible Brady Gun Control bill. We’ll see how this race heats up. – Timothy Jones
