Wednesday’s story on former VEEP Biden is changing at the New York Post: “a new trove of documents suggesting that the Biden family was able to collect big money big money in China just for arranging meetings,” reports James Freeman in the WSJ.
From the Post’s Emma-Jo Morris and Gabbrielle Fonrouge:
Hunter Biden pursued lucrative deals involving China’s largest private energy company — including one that he said would be “interesting for me and my family,” emails obtained by The Post show.
One email sent to Biden on May 13, 2017, with the subject line “Expectations,” included details of “remuneration packages” for six people involved in an unspecified business venture.
If the story is accurate, the Post report suggests that Hunter Biden was not being paid for his financial acumen, continues Mr. Freeman. According to the Thursday story:
The documents obtained by The Post also include an “Attorney Engagement Letter” executed in September 2017… in which former Hong Kong government official Chi Ping Patrick Ho agreed to pay Biden a $1 million retainer for “Counsel to matters related to US law and advice pertaining to the hiring and legal analysis of any US Law Firm or Lawyer.”
The media at large, new and old, have dedicated the last 36 hours to suppressing a damning report about their favorite candidate.
Regardless of the particulars of the Post reporting, Hunter Biden’s overseas windfalls have been clear for a while.
One blessing from this is the uncovering of the blatant, biased censorship from tech companies, writes BRiGHT editors.
Twitter, for example, “has been working overtime to censor any and all attempts at sharing the New York Post’s bombshell piece filled with evidence of Hunter Biden’s corrupt Ukrainian dealings, and Joe Biden’s lies and cover-up,”
Since the story broke on Wednesday, the companies have done everything possible to block its dissemination. Just yesterday, Twitter blocked House Judiciary Committee Republicans from sharing an official press release regarding the Post story.
The Trump Campaign Twitter account was suspended for sharing a video about the story. This is after blocking users’ attempts at sharing the story and locking the Post out of their account, while letting leftist hoaxes propagate indiscriminately.
Senate Republicans have announced an intention to subpoena Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey to question him on his election interference. Lindsey Graham said, “We’re going to finally have an accounting that is long overdue.” Let’s hope he’s right.
