Passed by a shop recently and saw this sign. “Contactless + Credit Card Payments Only; We Are No Longer Accepting Cash.”
No longer accepting cash? Look for this to be a trend going forward as governments and central banks push for cashless societies. As I have written, a cashless society would be a debacle for Americans, with complete control of your money centered in the hands of bankers and bureaucrats. Democrats like Kathy Hochul and Beto O’Rourke are already imagining the possibilities of having instantaneous and complete control over your money. Their targetting of Americans who behave in ways they disapprove of smacks of the Chinese Communist Party’s Social Credit system. Don’t let it happen here.
