President Donald Trump announces:
We will proudly be playing the National Anthem and other wonderful music celebrating our Country today at 3 P.M., the White House, with the United States Marine Band and the United States Army Chorus. Honoring America! NFL, no escaping to Locker Rooms!
In my own case, I long ago packed up my cable box and clicker and sent it back to my cable company, along with my cancellation of service letter. Since then, I have not watched a play of NFL football, NBA basketball, or, for that matter, ESPN or any Disney programming. And I have no plans to watch or support any of the above in the future.
