Donald Trump will be working with a poised pen and full inkwell.
Any legislation progressives might be able to jam through a House still loaded with Republicans and cantankerous Blue Dog Democrats and NRA-A-rated Democrats will be Trump vetoed.
Progressives will attempt to override a presidential veto. But. oops, from where? From where will come the two-thirds vote necessary to override Trump’s veto?
Maxine Waters and Progressives, for their efforts, will be vocally cut to ribbons by Trump.
So, net-net nothing happens, nothing at all.
President Trump can get back to the job of preparing to submit one or two more young, 2nd Amendment-oriented woman to the Supreme Court, such as Amy Coney Barrett.
